Internet-related services, from scanning pictures and help with the most
simple and inexpensive web page, to much more sophisticated, interactive web
sites and response systems. We can help you place family trees, family
history, and family and school pictures on a web page of your own. We can
announce and help coordinate your family or school reunion.
Here are a few examples:
1. For no charge at all, we'll place a brief explanation of your
high school reunion on our reunion bulletin board.
2. For $1 per picture (with a 3-picture minimum), we'll scan your
pictures, and send them to you as an electronic file. You can mail your
pictures to us (P.O. Box 11611 Tampa, FL 33680); we'll scan them and
mail them back to you, usually within 24 hours.
3. For a one-time price of $25, we'll design and place a single web
page on our site announcing your reunion or function. We'll include
whatever details you provide. Your visitors will be able to access this
page by pointing their browser to
http://www.bbhq.com/yourid.htm.
We can leave this page on our site for up to 6 months. This page will be
available to your visitors 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
4. For a one-time price of $75, plus $5 per month (for a minimum of
3 months), we'll design and place a single web page on our site
announcing your reunion or function. We'll include a form on this page
allowing visitors to easily enter and send a message to your e-mail
address. They can also post notes to the page itself which will be
available for everyone to see. Your visitors will be able to access this
page by pointing their browser to
http://www.bbhq.com/yourid.htm.
We can leave this page on our site indefinitely. This page will be
available to your visitors 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
5. For a little bit more, based on the scope of the work, we can
design a multi-page web site, including forms, graphics, sounds, and
other nifty stuff. We can design and send mail to your family or
classmates announcing your reunion. Just ask us. Give us enough room,
and we can take all your money. (Oh, wait a minute; that's not us;
that's the IRS. Never mind that last comment.)
6. For a one-time price of $200, we'll design a web page for you
and set it up using the name of your choice. This means that your
visitors will be able to access this page by pointing their browser to
http://www.yourid.com. We'll
include a form on this page allowing visitors to easily enter and send a
message to your e-mail address. This page will be available to your
visitors 24 hours a day, every day of the year. But be careful, there is
a lot of "fine print" here: The ID you choose must be available from the
god of the Internet. (We can find out if it is.) The god of the
Internet will charge you about $70 for the first 2 years (and $35 per
year thereafter) for the use of this name. The web hosting service (the
place where we put your page) will also probably charge you a setup fee
of about $30, plus about $20 per month. You pay the money, but we'll
take care of all the details for you.
7. Once your site is up and running, we can help promote it for you.
We can put a small graphical ad for your site on our home page. The ad
will allow the visitor to link to your site. That way, everyone who
comes to BBHQ will see your ad and can go directly to your site.
