The BBHQ Trivia Library |
|
What was the name of Sky King's plane? For what TV station did Mary
Richards work? What product made your car run "smoother, cooler, quieter,
longer"? What was Kojak's first name?
BBHQ members can participate in all of our quizzes... literally hundreds of questions (and answers) to the trivia of our life. You may consider our quizzes a warmup for the BBHQ Trivia Contest. This fall, we are changing the frequency and structure of our Trivia Contest. We'll offer better prizes with more flexibility. Can't wait to win? Dozens of boomer items available in the BBHQ Merchandise Mart. Click below and take a look:
The BBHQ Trivia Library is a series of Trivia "Books." Each book contains about 30 questions from an era or category. You can open a book, see the questions, and answer them one at a time. When you do so, we'll tell you, right on the spot, if you got the right answer; if you didn't, we'll tell you what the right answer is.
* BBHQ Basic Membership is only $9 per year. Click here for information on BBHQ Membership.

| Answering the questions: No "sharpened number 2 pencils" are necessary. In fact, all pencils are barred from this library. We'll score you on each question, and give you a grade at the end of each book. Our grading system is not "case sensitive" to your answers. That is, "the beatles" would be the same as "The Beatles" or "THE BEATLES." However, we can't be as flexible with spelling. IF you answer "THE BEAGLES," we can't guarantee what will happen. The atrocious spelling and typing that most of you demonstrated in the Official Baby Boomer Qualifying Exams may bite you in the keister here. (And you all know how painful that can be.) So, please take note and try to be careful. |

| The BBHQ Feature Album is "Old Friends Live on Stage (Deluxe Edition) (2 CD/1 DVD)," by Simon & Garfunkel. If you were fortunate enough to see them in concert in 2003, I do not have to sell you. The concert was terrific! This album collection includes 55 songs, plus their new recording, "Citizen of the Planet," and one of the songs sung by the Everly Brothers during the concert. The DVD was recorded during their concert in Madison Square Garden in 2003. For any S&G fan, this is a must have! But then, you knew that already, didn't you? |

The BBHQ Feature Book is
"The 5000 Year Leap," by
W. Cleon Skousen. The title does not
adequately identify the content, though the concept of the 5,000 year
leap is astounding. The subtitle, Principles of Freedom 101, is
much more applicable to the subject. This book carefully and clearly
summarizes the thinking of the brilliant founding fathers of our country,
the ideas behind the "miracle that changed the world."
